The Italian Chapter of IEEE Photonics Society organizes the 1st School of Photonics on

Photonic Integration: advanced materials, new technologies and applications

The School will be held at the “Ettore Majorana” Center for Scientific Culture, in the small ancient city of Erice in Sicily, from the 25th of September to the 1st of October 2016.

The school of the Italian Chapter of IEEE Photonics Society is aimed to PhD students and Post-docs in Engineering and Physics in the field of photonics technologies.

Topics of the course encompass advanced material properties, device design, technologies and applications of Photonics in different fields such as telecom, sensing, interconnections, quantum information.
