Oscar got his M.Sc. degree in Optics at Mexico’s National Institute for Optics, Astrophysics, and Electronics (INAOE). He then worked as a Research Assistant at the Lipson Nanophotonics Group (Columbia University), where he obtained his Ph.D. developing novel fiber to waveguide coupling approaches. He joined the Photonic Devices group in 2021 as an Early-Stage Researcher under the PERSEPHONe project, where he works on developing a novel technological platform for photonics based on perovskites.
