Andres received his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and his M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (2021). In 2022, he worked as a research fellow at the Photonic Devices Group of Politecnico di Milano. In 2023, he started his Ph.D. His work mainly focuses on the design of passive photonic devices and PICs for free-space optics applications.
