PhD Candidate in Information Technology (Telecommunications area) with expertise in integrated photonic circuit design and electronic control systems. Experienced in photonic–electronic co-design for large-scale programmable systems with applications in communication, sensing, and photonic computing. Samuele joined the group as a Ph.D. student in September 2023. He graduated with an M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering with a thesis on control electronics for programmable photonic circuits.
